1. Types of Membership

1.Continuous experience of direct market trading for more than one year to date of application.

2.An adequate established customer service system.

3.A proven record of fair trading standards and practices in conformity with those promoted by JADMA.

4.Observation in all business practices of statutory regulations including those concerned with door-to-door sales, installment plans, premiums, misleading descriptions and medical products.

2. Membership Fees

1.Fees for Full Members are based on a nine level scale according to the sales of each member company.

2.Membership fees are calculated according to the sales as reported in company statements for the two previous years.

3.The membership fee scale for Full Members are given in the table below. Fees for Associate and Supporting Members are set as shown in the table below.

3. Admission Procedures

1.Applicants should complete the required application forms and provide necessary documents as requested by the Association.

2.In principle, applicants are subject to interview, investigation by the Ethics Committee and the Board of Directors, before membership may be approved. As the Ethics Committee and the Board do not meet on a set schedule, applicants should inquire as to when the application process is likely to be completed at the time they submit their applications.

3.Once the applicants are accepted, they are supposed to pay total amount of membership fee to obtain the official membership.

4. Payment of Fees

Once the application for membership has been approved by the Board, the new member wiII be invoiced for the necessary fees. Members are expected to pay fees in full for the number of months remaining in the year, including the month of membership approval. The total amount of the invoice should be remitted to the bank account indicated by the JADMA.
